Inter Personal Skills

Interpersonal skills, what some call “people skills,” are at the top of the list of what any successful person/ leader must KNOW.

In today’s world, we are living in an environment where we are continuously interacting with people around us. It is, therefore, imperative for us to develop skills to effectively deal with people and work well in teams. There are people who are very bright and knowledgeable but cannot work in teams and, therefore, are not able
to do well in life.

The skills that we must pick up are as follows:

  2. Team Skills
  3. Collaborating

An Interpersonal relationship is a relatively long-term association between two or more people. The study of Interpersonal relationships involves several branches of social science, including such disciplines as sociology, psychology and social work. Interpersonal relationship skills help us to relate in positive ways with our family
members, friends and professional associates.

This may mean being able to make and keep friendly relationships as well as being able to end relationships constructively.

Inter-personal Skills training aims at developing these skills in people to enable them to do well in life.
